CAR WAS ORDERED NEW FROM DESALVADO AMC ON WESTERN AVE. ON CHICAGO'S SOUTH SIDE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS CAR WAS SPONSORED AND RACED BY THE DEALER SINCE THE DAY IT WAS NEW. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS CAR WAS REGULARLY SEEN AT THE UNION GROVE DRAG WAY, US 41 AND OSWEGO. THIS CAR IS STILL EXACTLY AS IT WAS BACK IN THE ROCKIN 70'S. THE FLOORS, DOORS, ROCKERS, FRONT FENDER AND REAR 1/4'S ARE ALL ROCK SOLID. THIS CAR WAS ALWAYS KEPT INDOORS AND NEVER SAW A MIDWEST WINTER. ROLLS ON VINTAGE CRAGER SUPER TRICKS WITH FIRESTON DRAG 500'S. CAR HAS ALUMINUM MINI TUBS WITH DANA 60 REAR. 4.56 GEARS AND STRANGE AXLES. ALL UNNECESSARY ITEMS WERE REMOVED LONG AGO FOR WEIGHT SAVINGS. NO HEATER OR DUCT WORK, NO SEATS, NO SIDE GLASS, ORIGINAL DASH PAD IS PERFECT WITH NO CRACKS, REAR TAILIGHTS ARE GREAT ALSO. NASTALGIA DRAG CARS ARE BECOMING VERY POPULAR AND VALUABLE. CAR HAS BEEN A DRAG CAR SINCE DAY ONE, CAR IS VERY CLEAN SOLID AND A GREAT BLAST FROM THE PAST.
